Fly fishing in the veins

Matt Dahl was born and raised in the Redding area where he currently resides with his family. He was introduced to his passion of fly-fishing at a young age by his father and grandfather, where he learned the local waters and how to stalk trout. Matts greatest passion is chasing steelhead and swinging flies with a spey rod. Although he can be  found fly-fishing on his days off, his greatest satisfaction is teaching the sport and educating others on the water.

Military Service

Coming from a military family and a combat veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom in the United States Marine Corps, Matt finds great pleasure in being active with Veterans on the water and promoting the therapeutic influences which fly fishing can offer.
